Few things haven't already been said about the attractive marvels that Zermatt offers. The town is bustling with cosmopolitan people, restaurants and shops, starkly different to many other towns on the Haute Route. Nevertheless, it retains the adventure, vistas and character that unite all mountain centers. The crown jewel of Zermatt is the Matterhorn. The photographer's reason for trekking the Haute Route was to end beneath the Matterhorn; he wasn't disappointed.
